Mostly Pics: Hurricane Sandy rolls in … Life changes so quickly

Life changes so quickly.

One week, I head south for family bonding.  Blessed.

Less than 48 hours after I step through my door, Hurricane Sandy rolls in.

A boom and the lights go out — and that was just the beginning.

A week disappears — and so does life and property for many.

What the h*ll just happened?

Life changes so quickly.

No electricity. No water — hot or cold. No heat.

I escape.  A warm bed, food and refuge in the arms of family.  Blessed.

The report comes in — power is restored.  I return home.

Home.  I still have a roof over my head and I can sleep in my own bed.

Seriously, what the h*ll just happened?

Life changes so quickly.

  1. Thank God you are safe as I did not hear a word from you. Yes, life is so precious, here one second and gone the next. I read there is another storm heading your way.
